Hi Done Girls! My name is Amber. I'm a stay at home mom in central Ohio. I have missed out on so much of life so far because of my weight and self-esteem. I'm DONE eating my feelings! I'm done being anti-social for fear of people rejecting me. I'm done with constant back and knee pain. I'm done being a bad example for my children. I'm DONE settling in life. I deserve happiness! Glad to be here with you all!

Hi, I am Lauren aka Lulu and I am DONE being "such a pretty face", "the funny one" and the wing woman for my thin friends. I am done being picked last for gym (metaphorically). It is my turn to be the center of attention and the girl who does cool sporty things, rather than the girl who bakes cupcakes for the returning adventurers.

Good Moring everyone. I'm new here and I hate always being the fat girl in the group. I feel like everyone pays so much attention you when you're the big one. If you order a salad, I get the "oh you must be on a diet" if I don't I get the "maybe you shouldn't eat that". I hate the extra attention. I hate going to the doctor and them not taking any aches or pains seriously and just prescribing exercise for everything. I'm DONE being the fat girl. I'm excited to be a part of this group and I hope get to know you all along the way!

Hi, my name is Michele. I loved the title of the team and joined a few days ago. I am DONE being the fat girl. Last year I joined SP and my life has changed in some more ways. Unfortunately, but I really should not say that, I did not have such a successful year. I am one of the slowest losers and only lose 21 pounds. But no crying over what should have, could have been. This is a new year and I am more motivated than ever to lose weight and get healthier. I would like to lose 60 pounds this year. However, my main goal for this year is to have less injuries. It really interrupts the consistent when it comes to being able to exercise. I am so looking forward to getting to know everyone and us working together to be Done being fat girls and instead healthy strong woman.
This is the year to get to Oneunderland.

Hi everyone! My name is Lynnsay I'm new to the group. I've been on SP for a few months, and it has really been changing my life. I'm more commited to being healthy and losing wait more than ever before. Like many of you, I've battled weight loss for years... would gain a lot, lose a few, gain a lot, etc. I experienced some health issues last year that not only made me gain 20-30ish lbs in a few short months, but also made me realize that my body is way to important for what I've been doing to it! For me, the actual # on the scale is more a symbol of how far I've come... yes, I have a weight goal, but mostly, I have a "feel better, look better" goal. If I never make it to my fateful number, that's okay, as long as I get to a point where I can feel good about myself and feel good about my health!!!
I hope to make some friends going through this journey and want to wisk everyone luck!

Hi everyone. I was on this team about a year ago, but was an inactive member, so I left the team for awhile. But there are so many successful people that are a part of this team, I know I need to recommit myself to being more active within the team.

Hey i am Brandi I have been an inactive member of this team for quite awhile and I realized a few weeks ago that SP helps drive me to lose weight in a manner that nothing else can. I know that this is a journey that needs support and I believe that I can find that here. I am DONE being overweight and unhealthy and tired all the time.. Its time to make some changes and get back on track and i think that becoming active and focused on a central goal is just what i need to get that done. so here I am ready to go ready to focus and soooo ready to get healthy.
My goals ~ 1.) To maintain my single serving rule on all food 2.) To get on schedule as far as walking and working out 3.) Drink more water 4.) Learn how to take time for me :) 5.) to Lose 30 pounds in 90 days ( today is 5/29/13) so by end of August be down 30 pounds :)

Hi, my name is Phyllis, and I am DONE, I need to get support in this weight loss thing, I can also give lots of motivation and support to others as well. I am quite active on Spark, but I have found that many of the other teams aren't as focused toward a serious lifestyle change like your team is, and I want to be a part of it. I don't want to only chit chat, which is okay, but aside from some of that I want to focus on getting as healthy as I can. I have 48lbs to work off, and I am, as your team title says, I am done being the fat girl! I want change and I want to get healthier! Can't wait , I feel more motivated just from joining this team and reading some of the posts, they exude energy! Suddenly I don't feel alone. What a great team you have. I am thankful I found what I think is going to be one of the best teams on Spark.
Phyllis It turns out that an eerie type of chaos can lurk just behind a facade of order - and yet, deep inside the chaos lurks an even eerier type of order.

Hi, I'm Rachel. I just started on SP and this team seemed pretty awesome. I am in college right now and want to lose weight (specifically, 75lbs by Christmas). Mostly, I just need support so that I don't always feel like I am in this alone, so thanks girlies!! :D

Hello all, my name is Kayla and I am a stay at home mom of 3. I have tried many things to lose weight, but have always gotten discouraged and given up. This time around I have made a commitment to myself to stick with it. There are a lot of things that I have vowed to change in my life. I am DONE feeling like a failure and I am DONE feeling sorry for myself. I am hoping with some encouragement from Sparkpeople and the groups I have joined that I can be successful in becoming the person I know I can be.

Hi, Everybody! My name is Laura and I am *SO DONE!* being a fat girl! I was a normal weight as a child and right around puberty I was rounder than my friends, so I thought I was fat, and started a lifetime of body-hate and running to food for comfort and always being the funny sidekick and not the Queen of the Auto Show. (Sorry for the original Hairspray reference!).
So here I am! I am doing it one day at a time and looking forward to leaving my fat pants behind in the dust.

Hi, I'm Addie, and I'm DONE too. :) I joined SP years ago but never really stuck with it. I'm determined to make it stick this time. I'm finally becoming a little more comfortable with myself as I am now, but that doesn't mean I want to stay here by any means. I'm a huge Tosca Reno and Chalene Johnson fan, so I'm ready to start putting their examples and tips to good use.

I re started last week. It is eye opening to see how far off course I have come after signing up 6 years ago. I have started and stopped over that time. Well today I went to update my profile after a week back on and wow. When I started I weighed So much less and thought I would never get it off. Now I am back on weighing a ton more and I guess it is all a matter of perspective LOL. I look forward to getting to know you all and loose weight with you.

Hi, I'm Yael and am just getting started using SP even though I joined over a year ago. I decided then it was time to take back my life and lose this weight! I did very well for months but then had some medical issues that have taken up the last 6 months of my life, not related to weight or to weight loss. Now that I am finally well again I am ready to get going once more. I'm looking forward to getting back on track; last year I completed five 5ks, this year I hope to do more.

Hi, I'm Jessica. I'm glad I found this team, it seems super supportive by reading a couple of threads! So I live in South Florida, have two cats, and two jobs (hoping to quit the second one soon!), and I take care of two elderly gentleman (my grandfather and uncle - reasons to take care of myself). I am moving in with my boyfriend within the next couple of weeks and renting out my house. I need to make a change so I can be done being the fat girl... so I'm here and here is where I will stay! Thanks!

Hi, I'm Donna and so glad to find this team. This being the fattest girl in the room thing is not something I have always been -- its only in the past 1.5 years that the weight has gotten utterly out of control. Scary out of control. Unfortunately for me, everything I've ever attempted in my life always came easy (school, work, dance, music, etc), this is like the fight of my life and I've never attempted anything more difficult than figuring out a way to shed these unwanted 129 pounds.
Anyway, thanks for being here and I can imagine I'll spend a lot of time with this team!
Thank you and I am SO DONE BEING THE FAT GIRL!
Today is the first day of the rest of my life.....

Hi, my name is Cindy. I know all about the "you have a pretty face, if only....". I've dreamed about being thin since I was in grade 8. My parent's are both obese and some of my extended family is as well. I have the most wonderful husband, who loves and supports me. We've changed the way that we eat and our activity level, and the guy had to go and lose 60 lbs right off the bat! But, he is my biggest cheerleader, and he keeps me accountable. I can't wait to lose this weight and shed that "fat girl" persona! I want to show it off and keep it off. I want to make my children proud and set a good example of what health and perseverance are!
So think clearly and exercise self-control. Look forward to the gracious salvation that will come to you when Jesus Christ is revealed to the world. So you must live as God’s obedient children. Hello, I've been a spark member since 2009 but haven't been serious about weight loss(actually gained 20 pounds since then) until this last month. I have been over weight pretty much all my life, in 5th grade I remember a project we had to do for class which involved everyone sharing their weight, the average was around 80 pounds and my weight was already 135. I was in a car accident in 2010 that left me unable to walk for 3 months and unable to be active for over a year. I have finally built up enough strength in my legs again that I have been able to get serious about my weight loss. I'm tired of always being the fat girl and with my second chance at life I want to make a difference and accomplish my goal weight of 135.

Hi all, found this board from another member (thank you).
Coming in today on my self proclaimed Mid Life Crisis Day. Turning 50 in a few weeks. My mom always said I go alittle crazy around my birthday. I think its because I review all my goals and feel like a failure. Well, I'm at it again!!
At age 39, I got out of bed and said "I do not want to turn 40 being fat. And I went directly to WW and joined. It took 18 months, but I finally lost the 35 lbs. I was on top of the world. Now at 49, I have the same 35 lbs to lose, but I feel absolutely NO HOPE.
I have NO IDEA how people lose 100, 120 lbs. I read the success stories and I feel like these people are from another planet!!!! How do they do it and I can't even lose 35??? The joke in all this is am the encourager, cheer leader, ra ra person for everyone else. I am so weary of trying. I don't want to give up, but I do not know how to go forward.
Blessings to You, Real2Me

I don't think I've gotten around to introducing myself. I haven't been very active on the boards this past month (or with my health for that matter!) but I recommitted yesterday and plan to use every single thing that Spark offers! And the DONE girls are amazing :)
I'll be 42 on April 21st and I am a single mom. I am dating a wonderful man who has been boosting my self esteem. I'm a Christian work-at-home homeschooler at the moment but making ends meet has been really hard the past six months so I am in the job market.
I have a very supportive yet sabotaging family! My sis, daughter and I are all in this together so I am very encouraged by that.
I hope you all have a wonderful week and I'd love to get to know you all better,

Hi all! my name is Callie, I'm 23 years old and honestly have been in the overweight range all my life. I did grow up working on a family ranch so pushing myself hasn't been hard. What has been hard is doing individual exercises instead of activities, and I had to start from square one nutritionally. After high school I was still pretty active, but once I was in college and living with my wonderful boyfriend the scale kept going up. I do need help!
If anyone wants to add me it would be wonderful!
Spark recipes has really helped so far, but I know I will need more in order to stay in shape and create a healthier me! So glad I'm on here

I have been a member of this group for a few weeks now. However, I am just now getting around to introducing myself. My name is Jessica. I'm a 26yo sahm/army wife. After having my son I joined SP and managed to drop from 215 to 175. My husband was deployed and I honestly had all the time in the world. Then, with the pregnancy of my daughter I gained all of that back and then some. Here I am again. This journey is different though. My husband is home & I have 2 kids instead of one. Temptations are not as easy to avoid & even though my hubby is home- I'm still the main one that does everything around the house and such. I find myself struggling to follow a healthy diet & fit workouts into my day. The last week or so I've started making progress. However, a little added motivation would surely do this girl some good....

Hi all! My name is Tasha and for as long as I've been a mother I've battled the bulge. Before I had my son I was in the best shape of my life of course that all changed during my pregnancy. I've made many excuses throughout my sons life as to why I haven't taken care of myself, but the excuses have to stop and I HAVE to get this fat girl off my back (okay and stomach)!!! I'm going to be selfish this year and take control of my health and my happiness.

Hi everyone! My name is Dania, I am 26 years old and I am from California. I have been overweight pretty much all of my life. However, it didn't get too bad until I got into a really bad relationship. I managed to leave that relationship, and slowly lose a bit of weight but it is so hard. I feel as if don't belong anywhere. I want to thank everyone who has already welcomed me with the wonderful comments on my page, they sure do help. I need motivation because I honestly cannot do it with the help of all of you! I joined SparkPeople in 2009 but left and now I am back. I want to make this change for good. I am sooo DONE being the girl with an ok face but fat body. I don't want to care about what others think about me, I want to only care about me...about what I FEEL, THINK, & CARE about MYSELF! I have this one life to live, and I have to start making the best out of it. I know I can do this, with the help and motivation from all of you. Hi all! I've actually been a done girl before... waaaaaaaaaay back when a couple of months before. Then I left Spark People because life got busy, and now it's still busy, but I'm back! (My previous username was alia091, someone got it now... LOL--- really weird for me to know that) I know that you guys are AWESOME! And I can't wait to continue my weight loss journey with you :)
By the way, I am starting to do Insanity, if anyone else is starting it, that would be cool! :) (I'd especially appreciate it if anyone who's tried to do it while overweight let me know about their experience. I did Jillian Michaels a couple of days; tried to do the Fit Test, and it killed me... in a good ouch, I hate you but like you anyhow Shaun kinda way. Lol)

I'm doing this because I'm sick of being fat and feeling uncomfortable in my body, I got some health problems (I was obese..) that I want to get rid of and my dream is to start riding horses again when I reach my goal.
