Hi - I was 330lbs on Jan 2nd 2013 - I set a target to walk the 160 mile shropshire way by June the 1st 2013.
I started by walking every day. Today I only walk once a week but it is always over 20 miles (24 last Saturday) I don't have the time to get enough benefit from walking during the week now so I have moved onto other cardio to keep moving the Lbs.
But its only by walking that I could do this it allowed me to loose weight and get fit without getting injred or disheartened. I love walking now I cant wait for my saturday alarm to go off at 5 am so I hit the hills and be back in time to run the touchline at a rugby match.
I am still very worried about having to walk 20 miles for eight days solid - so any advice will be greatly appreciated.
By the way ive walked from 330lbs to 267lbs in 4 months - walking is without doubt the best exercise.
