Gonna start doing this in km instead of miles. I currently walk 3 miles / day (most days). I, instead will walk 5 k, (3.11 miles).
I will begin to track my progress on my spark page. Hope you will follow along with me.
I will be walking from Galway, Ireland to Dublin, Ireland. The reason for this is to lose weight enough to fit back into my wedding dress. I am 145 lbs now, and my goal weight is 135 lbs. That is 110 lbs, and I have 3.2 years to do it. I want to renew my vows in Ireland on August 31st, 2016, my 20th wedding anniversary.
The route I will take is as follows.
Galway-Limerick - 102 KM
Limerick-Cork - 101 KM
Cork-Waterford - 121 KM
Waterford - Wexford - 61 KM
Wexford - Gorey - 42 KM
Gorey - Arklow - 18 KM
Arklow - Wicklow - 34 KM
Wicklow - Blackrock - 55 KM
Blackrock-Dublin - 9 KM
I have about 150 miles under my belt already, but I am starting this walk fresh, and I will update my spark page every step of the way. Im so excited to get going!!!!
