Not necessarily by the most direct route. Started off at John O'Groats harbour (beautiful view) and have taken detours to see Lake Louise (my namesake - Louise, not Lake....) and Bonar Bridge (beautiful).
Have walked 108 miles since I started logging my walking on 1st December 2012 and am currently staying in Tain (in Ross and Cromarty) and am taking a detour to see Loch Eye (cos I like the name).
Am loving google maps because you can see the road that you are "walking". Have also managed to get virtually lost a couple of times, but that's half the fun!
Good luck to all you walkers.
PS I actually wanted to walk from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego but couldn't calculate the distance as Google Maps does not like the Darien Gap between Panama and Columbia......
PPS Next Stop the walk to Rivendell - looks fab! http://home.insightbb.com/~eowynchallenge/
