Walking is a great form of exercise, I love to walk, I am really just getting back into it, I tried to go gung-ho and did nothing, got burned out, but the last couple of weeks I have been walking and I have lost 5 pounds, I am motivated and pushing on along the trail!

Just a little note to introduce myself -- I'm 30 years old and loving life in the nation's capital. I've been on a "car-free diet" since I moved to DC 3 years ago, so I walk and take public transit everywhere I need to go. It's amazing what you discover when your primary mode of transportation is your own two feet!
