FINFIN2,
You are right...the pandas at the National Zoo were Hsing Hsing (male) & Ling Ling (female) who arrived in April 1972. I saw them there in the late 70's.
Happy walking!

Good for you! I saw pandas at the national zoo back in the late-ish '70s. Sing Sing and Ling Ling? I'll have to look that up!... OK it was Hsing Hsing and Ling Ling.

Hi Donna!
emoticon to the team!
Enjoy your walk, but be sure to let us know how you are doing..keep track of your mileage, it is really motivating to see it in black and white..
When you see how you are progressing it really helps to keep you pushing forward..

All you need to do is make a post, start with your miles you need and just edit every few days with your mileage each day and subtract it from your total, see how far you have left..

I will be stopping by your place to drop you off a new pair of shoes..

Again have fun, I will be by later to check and see how things are going!

Hi, I'm Donna and I'm going to walk from Tempe, AZ to Zoo Atlanta (to see the Giant Pandas, of course!) which is 1803 miles from my front door.
