I think my biggest problem is setting the step length, I think I have the Omron, I'll have to look, maybe I'll add steps to what I keep track of too. Do you wear them during all work outs?

The Omron HJ-720ITC and HJ-112 are both great pedometers in my opinion. There are a lot out there that are not good at all.

Just the miles I walk when I go for my exercise walk. I've never had luck with pedometers and getting them to be accurate.

Are you using a pedometer to track your miles all day or just using "exercise miles"? I wear a pedometer 24/7... for almost a thousand days now!

There are many trips I would like to take across the country, and who knows when I'll be able to do them, so what better way to do it than a virtual walk? I'll lose some pounds in the process hopefully!

I plan to walk from MI to Bangor Maine. From there I plan to do a The Stand walk, go to Vermont, then Nebraska, then Colorado, then Vegas. After that I will choose something else, but this should keep me busy for a while! I plan to start walking tomorrow! This is a great idea!
