Just came across this group and love the idea. Since I am planning a trip to Texas this summer, I thought it would be great to figure out the walking miles. Not sure exactly how this forum works, but hopefully I'll catch on!

Hi. I just found this team and will be checking it out this week to see if it might be a good fit. I am looking to lose about 50 lbs in all. I will be walking outside, on a treadmill, and using a gazelle to gain distance. Do we just pick a destination and start walking toward it? Pointers would be welcome. Thanks.
