Don't give up what you want most for what you want for the moment.

Here is an Idea... Many libraries have videos of travel to beautiful places. Pop one in while your on the tread mill and walk through tropical gardens! There are also some web sites with virtual tours... I don't have any links.

Welcome to the team! Do you have a destination in mind? If not, we are starting a new walk tomorrow. Check out the challenge thread for Ely's walk.

I just saw this team listed today. Can't wait to get started. I grew up walking everywhere. To the store, school, friends houses, the movies, downtown etc. For the last 25 years, since getting married, I live in an area where there is nothing to walk to. The nearest place to walk is a little store 2 miles away. The walk is all downhill on the way there, and then of course all uphill on the way back. Not a very interesting walk either. So I can't wait to start envisioning in my mind a different route while on the treadmill. Any encouraging advice would be appreciated. Thanks to whoever thought of this group and to all its members
