My next walk is going to be around the Isle of Wight where I had many happy childhood holidays. My last walk was a very long one from Land's End to John O'Groats. You are right about learning new things. In many ways, I feel like I really did the walk. The important thing is to enjoy it. Best wishes.

Hi, everyone! I joined this group because I love to walk and I'm excited that there is a such thing as a 'virtual walk'. Now, I can go wherever I want and not have to pay for it. Lol. It also makes regular walking more interesting because now I can research the places I'm walking to and maybe post photos and such. I really want to start out kind of smaller on a route, until I get into a regular habit of walking again. I'd like to stay between 300-500 miles for my first walk, but I'm not sure where to "go". I would also like it to be a place that's scenic and interesting or unique in some way. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks so much.
