Ashley - we've got plenty of dorks over here. OWLWHO and I keep Excel spreadsheets of our walks. FINFIN2 uses Google to look at where she is on her walk. You'll find the dorkiest among us over in Challenge Walks in "Golden in May."

It's nice to be dorky. But I prefer to be a geek!

Hi everyone! I love this team. I actually started walking towards my destination back in September. I am walking from Mesa Arizona to Leominster Massachusetts. Its about 2,400 miles.

So far I've walked about 720 miles. I keep track of my progress on Google's pedometer site.
Here is my progress so far...

I like it because I see exactly where I am in the country. Sometimes when I'm bored I will look up pictures of where I'm at or do a little research about the area... It's like I'm really walking it! haha. But I'm a dork... what can I say?

Anyways, it's so so cool to find out that other people do the same thing. I thought I was alone in my cross country hike. :)
