Hi my name is steph, 26 single mom, and an ex-smoker for a full year now. This is my second shot at success because i have gained 20 since quitting a year ago. The self confidence that had swelled in my defeat of addiction has fallen because of the weight gain. One of my biggest hurtles (like last time i lost weight) is to cut out soda (mountain dew to be exact) when i cut it out last time i went from 212 to 152. I am now back up to aprox. 188. I have went without mountain dew for 3 weeks strait, the weight started to drop off, then quit. Seems like i will not be as lucky as last time to have it completely melt off. Of course i was under an extremely high stressful time and with limited sleep i relied on coffee loaded with sugar to stay awake. I am on here because last time i got the guts to say enough is enough it all started on spark peoples home page. And when you lose something you have to start at were you last had it right? Also if there is a lot of talk in the group please take note that i am a very solitary person and i tend to be a big lurker.
