I'm feel the same way!! This is my first week and I'm scheduled to wiegh my self on Thursday and I feel scared....I have been good, but I fear that I have not lost anything. But I am dertemined to stay positive and you should too. We can do it together. Good luck....
I think a lot of people are afraid of the scale and don't want to know what they weigh. An estimate may be good enough for now, but at some point, you probably will want to actually weigh yourself. To give you an alternative way to track your progress, maybe you could take your measurements instead and see how they change each week or month.

This is my first week on SparkPeople and I'm afraid to do my initial weigh in. I took a good guess at what I thought my weight is, but I'm a bit spooked to actually see the real numbers in digital form on a scale. Did anyone else feel this way when they started?
