I just started "Blue Like Jazz" and am enjoying it.
I want to read "The Kindness of Strangers" about a guy walking across America living on nothing but the goodness of people. I started a book of short stories, called "If I Loved you I would Tell you this" ...a couple of books about Glaucoma and one called "Persistent Prayer"

I have a lot more waiting on me but that's a good start.

Just finishing "The Light Between Oceans" by M. L. Steadman, about a lighthouse keeper and his wife off of Australia 1920's who find a baby in a boat. Recommend it! It is a selection of our church's reading group.

The next one for the book group is "The Citadel" by A. J. Cronin, about a young Scotish doctor in the 1920's. Masterpiece Theater made it into a series (which I didn't see.)

Just bought "The Harbinger, the Ancient Secret that Holds the Secret of America's Future" by Rabbi Jonathan Cahn. It was raved about in a sermon when I was in Ft. Myers, FL in March. It relates predictions in the Bible's Book of Isaiah to the 9/11 attacks and more.

Also bought "Grapes of Wrath" by John Steinbeck.

Oh, and got "Hero Food" by Seamus Mullen as a gift. It's a cookbook and more by a chef who was suddenly stricken with RA early in his career.

No, books, but 2-3 months' worth of magazines: Good Housekeeping, Oprah, and Wired. Finally caught up with Reader's Digest because my daughter reads them when I'm done, and she was lovingly harassing me for them. lol

I don't really have a TBR pile right now. I am reading the last of the new books I just got (the new Iris Johanson book). I read books as fast as I get them. I will be interested to see what everyone else is reading for more ideas.
