I must admit I was a child who attended United Church camp and loved the songs we learned there like the following:

- The Lord Told Noah (Rise & Shine)
- They Say That in the Army
- Titanic
- Green Grass Grows All Around
- O'Really, O'Riley
- Old Hiram's Goat
- Boom Boom, Ain't It Great to Be Crazy
- Baby Bumble Bee
- Be Kind to Your Web-Footed Friends
- The Chicken Song
- Hole In My Bucket
- Hole in the Bottom of the Sea
- Let There Be Peace on Earth
- Pass It On
- One Tin Soldier
- Dem Bones Going to Rise Again
- Give Me Oil for My Lamp
- Yellow Bird

Sorry for the long-winded answer but I really did love my camp songs.

I just remembered the other day that I liked "Little Surfer Girl" by the Beach Boys in my early teens. It's a slow song for them.

In 7th / 8th grade: the Lovin' Spoonful. What ever happened to John Sebastian?

Also the Beatles... Meet the Beatles (age 9) and Revolver albums in the beginning of their catalog.
And Simon and Garfunkel.
