We went out to dinner on the day of. We were going to go to Disneyland on Sunday, but the parking situation (would have had to walk 2 - 3 miles just to get to the park) made it untenable. So the plan is to go either this weekend or next.
I usually don't have anything to do with it personally although my Stepdad brought a couple of special heart shaped donuts home from Tim Horton's. I tried a small corner and gave the rest to my Stepdad. Mom also shared hers with him. It was nice of him, he usually doesn't do things like that.

I always buy my DH a heart-shaped box of chocolates. He took me to a local restaurant, that is very good and I had a turkey swiss, mushroom and onion melt that was scrumptious. I had a side lettuce salad and he had a double burger and fries. So we were both happy! Also, we do always give each other very fitting cards!

Enjoyed a lovely dinner with my DH at a chef-owned restaurant near here, which we had never been to before. I had lobster consomme and duck breast. My DH had truffle and chanterelle scallops skate with a saffron sauce and a couple of fried oysters. Mmmm....
