This morning I stood in front of my closet and could find nothing to wear in this chilly weather, I think I will get my daughter to help me bring out my fall/winter clothes
I just put away my heavy winter jacket storing it at Mom's. In September its cold enough in the mornings to require a lined jacket and October stand by with hat and mittens as quite often it snows by Halloween. I have more warm clothes such as fleece then anything else as its cold nine months of the year. We did have a great summer this year though with lots of warmth and sunshine.

You CAN do it!
Here in New England they say, "If you don't like the weather, just wait a minute." I've been cramming long-sleeved tops and long pants in the drawers with the summer clothes and it's tight! I decided today that I need to put away some of the summer things for the hottest weather, that I probably won't wear again, but keep some lighter things along with the fall clothes. It can range from the upper 30's at night to the 80's lately.
I'm not organized enough to have a date planned, although today is the autumnal equinox.
On another topic, I bought 2 pairs of the RIGHT SIZE pants, and am wearing one pair of shorts a size too small, and have some old ones that are pretty baggy. Many of my shirts are old and too big for me. A good problem to have, I guess.
Living in South Texas, it is pretty much the same wardrobe the whole year.

After living in Springfield, MO for 15 years now, I've learned to never pack away ALL of my summer clothing. Mother Nature has thrown us quite a few 70-degree days in Jan, Feb and Mar over the years.
It's a great day to be alive!

I dress for the weather...no special date.

Truthfully, my wardrobe is pretty much the same year round with the exception of sweaters (in dresser year round). I will add or subtract a dress jacket, coat or over-blouse depending on the weather.

I know I'm late but it was another busy weekend and I'm away next weekend so next week's poll will be late as well.
When do you decide to retire your summer clothing and pull out your fall clothing? Is a date or when the days are more cool than not or something else entirely?
