One thing I looked forward to was the cruise for Thanksgiving. And even though it was nice I was a little disappointed in the trip. It just wasn't what I thought it would be, especially for the premium price we paid. Maybe that's why it was a let down.

I look forward to the day when I can say
"I recovered from bulimia"

Presently I am still recovering, but this
time last year I wasn't even able to acknowledge
that I had an ED let alone get help.
I'll get to "recovered" eventually...

The thing I looked forward to the most - and am still looking forward to - is "being together in life" with my first love, the love of my life. We're close to that point, but we live across the country from one another - and he has an 18-year-old son, who I want nothing to do with - so, we'll see.

I think I always looked forward to being self-sufficient and able to take care of myself and my children on my own. I got there long ago - not through a windfall or anything like that, but through learning and practicing self-control and responsible money management - pretty much doing without! That's ok. It's a great lesson in life and living!

For me I would say it was having my first one person art show. That hope came true about ten years ago and it was wonderful. However NOW when I look back at the work I displayed in the show, I am appalled. I have developed quite a bit since then and I guess it is good to have growth as an artist. Maybe someday I will have another show but I doubt it. Things have changed quite a bit and I could not even physically manage the matting/framing/hanging aspects of having a show....so I will just have to treasure the memories of the show I did have.

In your life what was the thing you looked forward to the most - or are still looking forward to.?
And when it happened was it all you'd anticipated it being? ( I know the temptation will be to say "marriage" or "having a child"...you can acknowledge those but try to mix it up a bit and also name something else.)
