Awww Linda, it so good that you're back with our team It is so surrounded with support, good info, and motivation to help us along in our journey with getting more healthy. I was diagnosed with RA in Nov. 2008, and even with being on Prednisone, I've been going down in pounds, slowly but surely. Good luck to you!

I'm starting my ticker over with going low carb.

Welcome back Linda!
Sorry your condition swung back on you, but unfortunately, its to be expected as there is no cure for this terrible disease :( I am on permanent disease modifying drugs even if my Dr.thinks it has gone into remission, although the way I feel I know it hasn't even if my blood tests are good.
This is a fairly active team, with new leaders as you might notice. The Daily Chatter has regulars checking almost daily in so you might want get involved with it. The team name was changed because the RA really encompasses so many versions of autoimmune diseases that limiting it to one seemed counter productive to attracting people. There are several easy challenges going on right now, in that easy means you don't have to do minute tracking etc., but just participate.
I see lots of people on other teams too, seems allergies go hand and hand with RA quite often.
Weight regains happens to a lot of people and that usually brings them back into the Sparks fold. Good luck with your weight loss, you can do it!

Hey Linda. Welcome back to the team!!! Sometimes we think we're doing alright, and then RA comes back to bite us in the butt. I hope you start feeling better soon.

I do believe I was part of this team years ago (if I am correct but it was called Living with Rheumatoid Arthritis) either way I'm Linda I have had RA for more years then I can count recently due to Tropical Storm Debby I am feeling it! Working yesterday was a killer one could see how much pain I was having written all over my face.

I have been with SP this time since 2009 I thought I reached my goal weight back last year in May but a change in primary care doctors well long story short I'm back on the weight loss journey to lose additional 15 to 20 pounds she thinks the less I weigh the better for my joints can't disagree there emoticon Looking forward ot getting to know you I'm hoping this time around this will be a very active place to be.
