For an in-person store, I would go to Pennington's (a Canadian plus-sized women's clothing store) and online, I would try either Lands End or LL Bean or Coldwater Creek.

After the local consignment shop I would look at Coldwater Creek Outlet. :)

I would probably start out at the local thrift store, then move on to Lane Bryant, and finish up my shopping spree at Target.

Tilly Endurables -great, rugged outdoor clothing, but very expensive -love their washing instructions -'Give 'em hell' They are worth the price tag -the vest I bought from them 20 years ago has been through the wringer, but looks as good as new!

I think with the $300, I would head straight to Christopher Banks. I love their different outfits you can put together and they're always so cute, dressy or just right for anything.

I'm starting my ticker over with going low carb.

Well, the first store would be our local second had store (Tienda de Segunas) where $300 can go a long way at $0.50 a piece. After that it is time for shopping at Duluth Trading Company (pants, shirts, and underwear) and Dillards (for bras). Can't tell that I have a shopping list do you?

Lane Bryant. Love the selection and quality! They're the only jeans I found that fit and don't start to shred after a few months. The online clearance section is my favorite :)

My abject apologies, I am late once more in posting the weekly poll...sorry, with Mom's Day etc, it slipped right out of my mind. So here it is:

if you were given $300 to spend on clothes, at what store would you likely shop?
