I hear the PCT is hard, but I guess it is all hard when you first start hiking. I would also like to thru-hike but with work and all you kind of get set in what you do, and then you can't pull yourself away. That is why I section hike, so I can just get out on the weekends. I love to be outside. We hiked on the AT this weekend and it was really cold.

I wish I was gone hiking all the time. I love to go out hiking and backpacking. This summer I did 60 miles on the PCT, and loved it. Although I figured out after the first 10 or so, that it would be a lot easier to drag myself up the mountians if I wasn't carrying an extra 30 or so pounds with me. (Other than my pack.) So now I'm here, hoping to get into better shape for next season.
P.S. I would love to hike the AT, or the PCT as a thru hiker someday.
