Hi Jody. Welcome to the team. There are many articles on SP on heart care. The nutrition tracker is an excellent tool to monitor your nutrition. If you have any questions, just post. Glad you joined us.

Welcome, Jody. Good for you for making changes. I had two stents implanted about 15 years ago I'm older than you, but it stinks at any age.
I've heard of Sobe Water, but it isn't the sort of thing I'm likely to look into for myself. Let me suggest, though, that you think of "allowed" as your territory to decide. There are no enforced laws. Making a major life change, such as weight loss and striving to give our bodies the best chances, means, in part, making our own, wise choices.
You'll probably find some guidance on making the choice by searching for the product in the Spark search bar, top center of the screen. When you click "Search," be sure to then click Spark rather than Web so that you're not inundated.

Hi Jody and welcome to SparkPeople and to the Dealing with Depression team. I'm sorry to hear about your heart attacks, particularly at such a young age. My husband had a heart attack at 45 due to blockages in his heart.
I wonder if your lack of sleep has to do with your depression or if it could possibly be sleep apnea? My husband's sleep was really bad until he was tested for sleep apnea and got a Cpap machine. I realize it may not have anything to do with your sleep problems, but I thought I'd mention it, just in case.
I've never heard of Sobe Life waters, but maybe another team member has and will comment soon. As long as it fits into your nutrition plan on the Nutrition Tracker, I think it should be okay.

My name is Jody and I am new to Spark. I am dealing with depression, lack of sleep and have heart issues. In the last year I have had 3 mild heart attacks and I just turned 42. I am looking to better my life and eating habits. Does anyone know if we are allowed to drink Sobe Life waters?
