Hello and welcome to the team Kathy! Because depression makes it harder to get started with things I start with one change and keep that one going for a while then add in another. Baby steps works because small steps add up to big changes! Start with something easy like drinking 8 glasses of water a day or moving for 10 min a day. there is a lot of information on the site and many people with simular issues. I am so lucky that depression is not one of my problems, just a overactive fork. Everytime my elbow bends my mouth flies open. blessing on your new journey of a healthly lifestyle.

Hi, my name is Kathy and I've just joined the team. I'm a 63 year old retired mother of two children and have suffered from depression for many years. I've been on meds for a long time but every once in a while I have to have them "tweaked." Even though my meds are working I just don't seem to have the motivation to get started. Any help would be appreciated.
