Welcome to a great team of caring and understanding people. I ended up retiring from teaching earlier than I planned because our new principal was creating a toxic work environment for me. I am now so glad this happened. I am lucky enough to be in good health and able to enjoy my retirement.
As you learn about this site, be sure to use the nutrition and fitness trackers. They are invaluable tools.
As make small goals and take small steps to keep that feeling of success going.

Hi My name's Denise and I found this entire site purely by accident. I've been treated for depression with medication for two years, but recently stuff got much worse and I've been off work since March and will be ending my contract in August (I was a headteacher, but have been told by doctor that I'll probably never work in education again because of my mental health). Decided that as I now need to change my career/work path I might as well do the lot, so I've decided to seriously try and lose weight as well. Hopefully it'll make me start to put my life back together.
