Welcome to our team!
You have come to the right place to find support on your fitness journey. You are NOT DIETING---you are BECOMING MORE FIT. Spark is not a diet. It is not about deprivation. Spark is about making healthy choices in your nutritional intake and in your exercise. The Spark fitness program works best when you set your fitness goals then make small changes at a time in your lifestyle until those changes have become a habit.
As a nurse, I know that an individual with ADHD who is learning something new does best by approaching that new challenge using "baby steps." My advice is to avoid putting pressure on yourself to try to change too quickly. Set small goals that move you closer to the larger goal. Reward yourself when you achieve each "mini goal"
It would be helpful for you to set up your Spark page, so that we can send you messages of support and virtual Spark goodies.
You have joined a team of compassionate individuals who are in various stages on their fitness journey. We are willing to listen and to share with other members from our own experience. Stay in touch, okay? I'm glad you've joined us!
