You have come to the right place to find support on your fitness journey. You are NOT DIETING---you are BECOMING MORE FIT. Spark is not a diet. It is not about deprivation. Spark is about making healthy choices in your nutritional intake and in your exercise. The Spark fitness program works best when you set your fitness goals then make small changes at a time in your lifestyle until those changes have become a habit.

As a nurse, I know that an individual with ADHD who is learning something new does best by approaching that new challenge using "baby steps." My advice is to avoid putting pressure on yourself to try to change too quickly. Set small goals that move you closer to the larger goal. Reward yourself when you achieve each "mini goal"

It would be helpful for you to set up your Spark page, so that we can send you messages of support and virtual Spark goodies.

Hello everyone, my name is Jo and I am overwhelmed by the amount of useful information in SparkPeople. I joined several weeks ago and I did not come back until today. I really need to lose weight and I feel that this website can help me. I have ADHD and I'm aware that it will be a struggle for me to be consistent but I'll do my best.
