Set yourself small goals to reach your destination. One of the strongest tools on Spark People is the Nutrition Tracker. If you use it to identify where your calories are coming from, you will soon learn to pay attention to the recommended ranges for calories and other nutrients. Weighing and measuring your portions to be in compliance will ultimately bring you to the point where you are headed to succeed.

Take your time getting to know the site but do start by setting one small goal to work on - this could be 10 minutes of fitness per day, or striving for 8 glasses of water daily. Start learning to use the nutrition tracker as most find these to be the best tool to monitor progress.
