emoticon TDULIAN1 and emoticon to SparkPeople's DwD Team...Nice to have you with us on the journey to a healthier lifestyle.

You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.

Mistakes are the portals of discovery.

Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.

It is never too late to be what you might have been.

Hi Tammy and emoticon to the team. I hope that you set up your Spark Page soon. If you have a Spark Page, it is much easier for us to cheer you along by sending virtual goodies and leaving motivational comments. It sounds as if you have set up your goals and that is great. Just remember baby steps are the recommended way to begin. I hope to see you on the threads and posting often, so that we can encourage you along the way. Stay in touch with the group. We care. Take care and God bless, Deb T.

Hello, Tammy. Welcome to our team!

I'm hoping you are saying that you want to lose 60 lbs.---not to actually weigh 60 lbs. You have come to the right place to find support on your fitness journey. You are NOT DIETING---you are BECOMING MORE FIT. emoticon

Spark is not a diet. Diets are a setup to fail. Spark is not about deprivation. It is about making healthy choices in your nutritional intake and in your exercise. The Spark fitness program works the best when you set your fitness goals then make small lifestyle changes at a time until those changes have become a habit.

You have joined a team of compassionate individuals who are in various stages on their fitness journeys. We are willing to listen and to share with other members from our own experience. Stay in touch, okay? I'm glad you've joined us!

Hello! Though I've been a member of SparkPeople for some time, I've decided, though I try, I can not do this on my own and need support. First step, introducing myself! I'm hoping that I'll get some close networks via this. My goal is 60 lbs. Thanks for your support!
Thank you!
Tammy D
