Gee, where have I heard that before?

All I can say in general is to redirect your attention. Once in a great while it occurs to me to do that, but I'm not even sure I ever have. Mary Richards compulsively reorganized closets and kitchen cupboards when she was upset. It's certainly worth a try: The results will be two-foldedly positive. That's just an example, of course.

Stress while waiting for the thyroid results is more than understandable. It's easy to say that dwelling on it will accomplish nothing, but not so easy to dwell elsewhere.

I'm wishing you a negative report.

No one said it would be easy, but it can be easier.

We all slip up! It is human to err. The best thing to do is get up and try again. One of the best sayings I have heard is " Fall down seven times, Stand up Eight" Japanese proverb.

Don't beat yourself up over it. Today is a new day. Get right back on the horse. When you were learning to ice skate, when you fell, you didn't stay down, you got back up and tried again, and probably fell again and again, but you got back up. Riding a bike, learning to walk. Eventually you did it. You can still trip and fall. But you get back up. but a bandaid on your knee and get on with your day. emoticon

I seem to have all of the excuses not to be consistent with a diet program. My emotions - depression gets the best of me. Yesterday, I went to the doctor to follow-up on a nodule found on my thyroid. I was shocked because they had to biopsy my thyroid. After I was depressed - not in the mood to eat... These are the things that throw me off my diet - or that I allow to through me off my diet
