We must remember that growth occurs for each of us in its own pace, and especially for those of us in this forum. When I began eating properly, I GAINED some weight, due to the fact that my sytem hadn't been absorbin nutrients well before. Hi Debby! Glad to meet ya - you'll have to tell us a little about yourself. I'm glad you have a sense of humor about not eating "whole grains" like they were a panacea for health or something! sheesh! Talk about killing someone softly! lol I'm all about celiac and gluten intolerance awareness. It's a toughie in this gluten-filled market! Everyone is brainwashed!

A few days ago, I was thrilled when I found the Spark people site and now I'm even more reved up to get healty now that I found you guys/gals. It's nice to know I'm not the only one who can't eat whole wheat bread and pasta to increase my fiber intake! LOL
