hi, there, and welcome.
There are lots of gluten-free snacks in many supermarkets; ask them. Or check out Celiac.com--they have a gluten-free on-line store there, and many more exist as well.
Cravings don't have to be given in to, especially when the results are so awful!
I become violently ill when I eat glutens.
A good nutritionist can be helpful...

Sorry, I am not a baker only a cook so I don't have any recipes for donuts. I'll check in the cookbooks I have and let you know if one turns up. As for things that I crave I usually find a way to make them GF. Last month it was Jalapeno poppers. They were great. Keep eating GF. It's the key!

No day is complete without a little fun!

Hi Fun2day & welcome!

I have been on the glute free about 5 months and only occasionally have a craving for things I shouldn't have (and have been abel to resist the cravings).

My daughter, who is out of state and has 2 kids, was just diagnosed with celiac the same time she found out she is pregnant. I'm on the look-out for recipes to help her through her pregnancy munchies.

Last I heard, she was dying for donuts; so if you know any recipe that is not too difficult, I'd love to have it!

emoticon Hello. I'm excited to find a gluten free community that seems up beat. In February 2007 I finally had a nutricionist tell me she thought I was Gluten Intolerant. For 2 years I've been feeling worse and worse. She suggested I go on an elimination diet for 30 days and then eat a piece of wheat bread to see how I reacted. Well by the time 30 days was up you couldn't pay me enough money to eat that piece of bread. I'm learning fast but still have a long way to go. Mostly with realizing even though I have more energy that I did, when I do a lot of activity it takes me a few days to recover. I'm learning but I did have the most amazing trip to Disney World. Ate like crazy and didn't get sick once. LOVE DISNEY.

So I'm married with 2 sons and one is heading off to college. I run a business with my husband and I teach Jazzercise. I am hopefull that eventually my metabolism will kick back in and I can get rid of this extra weight that jumped on me in just a few short months.

I love to cook and use to work in restaurants. I'm happy to share anything I can with you. Just ask.
