Welcome to the team and glad that you got another kidney too!!
If you tell God no because He won't explain the reason He wants you to do something, you are actually hindering His blessing. But when you say yes to Him, all of heaven opens to pour out His goodness and reward your obedience. What matters more than material blessings are the things He is teaching us in our spirit. I have had Celiac's for just 6 months, but suffered 3 years before being diagnosed. Have many other health problems. I am glad to have found the group....lots to talk about. Now I would like to tell you about my miracle! Christian all of my life experiencing some pretty tough things. I just experienced the most amazing miracle and am just "full of God" at this time. I had a kidney transplant on November 21st of 1990. The kidney failed on my birthday (July 31) this summer, was on dialysis the next day. I live in rural Wisconsin and was having to go to dialysis 120 miles round trip every other day. The cost was going to be at least $600 a month!! My small town of 740 people came together and had volunteers drive me for each appointment for 4-1/2 months. A man called me on the phone and said "I understand you need a kidney and I would like to give you one of mine"!! It turned out that one of my students was asking for a type "O" kidney for me at church, and this was the minister. We didn't know each other. Anyway, we had the transplant on Nov 14th and I am recuperating as I type. I am excited to get this last chapter of my life going and get involved with this group. God does answer prayers!!
