When I was in a similar situation many years ago, I felt the same as you. Over the years I've seen multiple alternative therapists to improve my health. Depending on the resources in your area and financial circumstances, perhaps you could seek them out. Right now, it's important to eat the most nutritious foods and take some high quality multi vitamins and minerals. ps. if you need to lose weight as well, I found Dr. Alejandro Junger's program excellent. Check out Dr Oz - 3 day cleanse. It's all about the gut. Dr. Junger gives a good explanation in the videos (3 parts). There is not a lot of questionable supplements. They were already known to me.

Hi My name is Diane I'm 52 yrs old and have been diagnosed with celiac 6 yrs ago. Before I was diagnosed, I was losing weight, anemic,I had been diagnosed with autoimmune hepatitis, was sent to the ER for blood transfusions because my iron was so low. (My hematocrit was 8, normal level is 40) I slept 12 to 16 hrs a day and never felt rested. I was diagnosed with osteopenia, I was depressed, I was always sick, I had constant headaches, memory issues, and on and on... Needless to say I had no energy and was not in top shape. When I was finally diagnosed with celiac, (which happened as a fluke, as they were convinced I had internal bleeding somewhere and thats what they were looking for ) which was causing all my heath problems, I stopped eating gluten. I started feeling better within days, but I never really regained my strength and endurance that I felt I should have. I'm now 52 and I want to get in shape. I want to go into the second half of my life feeling strong and healthy. I want to kick ass when I am 60 or 70, or even 80. I need to lose about 25 lbs and I want to get strong. I am tired of feeling like a delicate creature & a wimp.
