Welcome to the team. You might want to look at the other things that you are eating because some of them are higher in calories and will account for the weight gain.
If you tell God no because He won't explain the reason He wants you to do something, you are actually hindering His blessing. Hello, my name is Gretchen and I've very recently become gluten intolerant. I did think that once I eliminated it from my diet, I'd lose weight, but the exact opposite has happened. That, along with my slacking off, has resulted in me gaining back half of the 50 lbs I lost a little over 2 years ago. I've begun "clean eating" and a renewed commitment to exercise.
