yes, short and sweet.

If it says "Modified food starch" - you're safe
if it says "Modified food starch(wheat)" - stay away

I will add that I'm not saying it's healthy but is safe to eat.

so since I dont have a problem with corn and I live in the US I am ok to eat "modified food startch" because it doesnt state from wheat...

sorry. for clarification.. just trying to clean out cupboards and still new to this...

I just stay away from those that state that since I have problems with corn.

If you are in the US and don't have any other food allergies/issues - ie corn, as long as it doesn't say it came from wheat you're safe.
If outside the US different laws apply and might not be safe.

is this ok or not.... i have read that new lawas need to state if it has wheat in it... but i am confused...
