emoticon There are also some very easy mixes (such as brownie mixes, cake mixes, etc.) Ian's makes a lot of kid oriented products that are good treats for adults too! This is manageable, and I have found subsitutes that I enjoy for everything but subs and beer.

Christine, look for products by Kinninnick, they make good treats. They have Kinni-Toos (which are like Oreos and very tasty), they even have frozen donuts that aren't bad. :)

There are some very good boxed cookies that are GF. What in particular are you craving?

For 15 years I thought I had ulcerative colitis and did my best to live with that. Then just over 2 years ago a very traumatic event had me in and out of the hospital with the end result being a diagnosis of celiac disease. I then learned that one of my sisters has the same thing and since it runs in families it made more sense.

I've always been addicted to carbs like bread and pasta so this has been a real challenge. Thankfully I like rice and my favorite is Lundberg which has 5 or 7 different kinds of rice in it. It is great in the morning with a little butter.
