You are not alone...sometimes I get so hungry! This week I have decided to track everything that goes into my mouth because I found this cool site "SparkPeople". I have been very good making sure I eat right but the pain continues. Today I had a tuna salad and immediately made my vision very blurry and I got a horrible headache.
Going GF is not something I like, I can't understand why someone would go on a GF diet just to lose weight...
You are so right, I was talking to my sister-in-law about that yesterday. I told her about a friend of mine who said she was going to loose weight by going on a GF diet. It was hard not to laugh out loud. She had no idea what she was talking about.
GF foods are a recipe for obesity and the non celiac general public has no clue. I am diabetic and celiac and It's a B...., trying to stay within 1400 calories 175 carbs and 45g of fat per day.
Some days I do real good, other days I get so hungry I just say screw it. Up until the last couple years I never had to worry about foods, I don't even like most foods and I only eat when I'm hungry. Now I have to plan every thing that goes into my mouth and It's driving me crazy.
Pardon the rant,,, I'm still pretty new to all of this and I get so unbelievably frustrated.
My journey with Celiac has been very painful. I am blessed to have found a Dr. that figured out my problem. For many years, I have been suffering in silence without knowing how to control the situation.
Although, I am doing better. I still have some weight and diabetes issues. I am determine to find out what is going on with my body.
