Welcome to the team Tonya....I started in October on Sparkpeople and know the issue that we all have with making excuses. I found the following quote helpful.
"If a man really wants something he will find a way, if he doesn't he will find an excuse."
Stephen Dolley Jr.
I too have set goals and made plans and committed to a new way of life without excuses! I will enjoy getting to know you and watching you succeed with all the support from Sparkpeople and this team! Smiles Barb emoticon emoticon emoticon

Having a very high positive attitude helps me manage several health issues. I've recently joined Spark in an attempt to gain positive friends, positive support, and creative ideas on enjoying exercise. I have used excuses in the past and i know they are excuses, however that is the past. I'm ready to make positive changes to my exercise habit while listening to my body and taking it one moment at a time. Doctors have cleared me for all exercise telling me to listen to my body and stop if I start to wear down easily. I have a desire to exert much energy ( as in running marathons) but I know I am not ready yet for that undertaking. Baby steps bring solid results.
