If you tell God no because He won't explain the reason He wants you to do something, you are actually hindering His blessing. But when you say yes to Him, all of heaven opens to pour out His goodness and reward your obedience. What matters more than material blessings are the things He is teaching us in our spirit. Welcome to the team! My Dad, Daughter and Cousin all have celiac, milk and egg allergies along with me. My other daughter is allergic to soy and my nephews wife is a vegetarian so we had an interesting meal plan for the holidays...family, heredity and allergy all seem to mix together. Smiles Barb

to the team, as you can see where friendly and helpful here. I understand about the family being in denial. I'm 99% sure my maternal grandmother had it and my mom agrees with it but refuses to even entertain the fact that she could have it, like it can just magically skip right over her to me. Luckily I'm an only and don't have kids.
I am glad I searched out a team that has similar dietary avoidance's. I was diagnosed in March, 2010. I still have muscle spasms that leave my workouts inconsistent. I gave up on food logging for a long time and I am getting back into that now. I had lost nearly 65 pounds prior to diagnosis. But deep gut pain became active in December of 2009 and after ruling out gallbladder we went down the road of diagnosing Celiac. I had positive biopsies, and genetic testing as well as IGA markers on early tests. I have maintained a weight loss from 204 to 147. I am now working on my last 15-17 pounds with a goal of 135 by my daughter's wedding in June.
