Welcome to the team. I have to agree that the calorie counter was a real eye opener. I was eating a lot more then I thought I was. It made me realize that I also needed to improve me eating habits and get more veggies and fruit in my diet. The forums are a great way to get support, encouragement and friendship.

Hi to all you wonderful Spark People! I came to find a calorie counter -- but I have found so much more, and I am really enjoying all the tools available!
I have lost and gained my way through life, but since I turned 50 (3 years ago!) - things have gotten harder! I was kidding myself about how much I was eating, and how many calories I was consuming -- I really needed to be accountable to someone - so tracking my water, food, and exercise is just what I need, and the support of fellow "Sparkers" will be really nice.
I am looking forward to learning more about the website, and finally losing the weight & re-committing to a healthy lifestyle!!
