It's funny but I never thought to ask if they have the nutritional information on the gluten free pizza! I will call them and ask! I hope they do! If not, I guess I will just equate it to regular pizza.

Thanks for the help! Have a great evening.

Thank you for your kind words. Thank goodness he is not a fussy eater.

Have you asked the Pizzeria Place if they have the calorie content of the pizza that you had? They should have the serving sizes and how many calories, fat, cholesterol, fat and etc. Once you get that then you go onto the nutrition tracker and pick add the new food and input that info.

I hope that this is of some help to you.

You certainly have your job cut out for you tracking not only your nutrients, but your hubby's too! Good for you for doing such a great job!

A local pizza place here now carries gf pizza. Today my son and I had lunch together and I ate two slices. I had no way of knowing how to equate them on the nutrition tracker, so I just counted them as 2 regular slices of cheese pizza, even though the gf slices were much smaller. I think I would rather count too many calories, than too little. Any advice on how to count foods that you really do not know how to count? Thanks.

Yes I agree with you on the sweets.

Most of the food in the house is gf; however hubby is not gf and so I have to watch what I feed him as he had a triple-by-pass in 2007 and the dr wants him to only have 150 carbs a day and 1800 calories a day. You know that the gf food is very high in carbs so I do watch how I cook and so far he is doing fine.

Any gf goodies that I do have, he never touches as he tells me they are strictly for you. I do have some cookies in the house in case I get a sweet tooth and they are by Kinnikkinnick and they look like the original Oreo cookies and they are delicious. So far I am doing good not eating them all of the time.

Take care and have a good day and a great weekend.

Hello, again. Yes, I have a friend who was diagnosed with Celiacs about 25 years ago, and she can make just about every single dessert gf! There isn't any way I could bake and NOT eat all those yummy desserts. So I choose to save the gf desserts for special holidays and occasions. I have seen many new gf desserts in the stores, and I, too, choose to not buy them. We can do it!
Have a great day.

I feel the same way as it is not that bad being gf. I also said that so many times to my hubby at least I am not eating the good desserts; however gf has some yummy deserts, but choose not to buy them. I hope that I keep it up.
Have a good day.

I, too have been gluten free for just about 1.5 years now and feel so much better. I thought being gluten free would be so very difficult, but it truly is not. It is a wonderful way to pass up on many regular fattening desserts, and a way to chose more healthier natural foods. Thanks for the welcome and I look forward to hearing more and more from my new friends!

Hello. I was so excited to read your profile! What a great achievement to set your goal and meet it (you actually surpassed it!!) Wow! I am starting out slow, with making some few changes (tracking my food, tracking my exercise, and setting goals). I purchased the Spark and am following its advice. I must have tried every single diet plan out there, and now, at the age of 52, am just beginning to see the light! I am so excited for you! What an accomplishment!

Hello. I am new to SparkPeople and am excited about joining such a huge, helpful organization. I am gluten intolerant, over 50, and looking forward to the challenges of getting healthier (and a little lighter!) I am just learning to navigate this site, and learning more each day. I am currently reading "the Spark" and enjoying its motivational messages. Please do not think me rude if I do not answer your messages. I am still learning how to use the features on this site. Looking forward to making new friends!
