If you tell God no because He won't explain the reason He wants you to do something, you are actually hindering His blessing. But when you say yes to Him, all of heaven opens to pour out His goodness and reward your obedience. What matters more than material blessings are the things He is teaching us in our spirit. I just started today on this website but will use it and find out where my problem is. It's mainly eating late at night (I'm a night RN) and snacking on what other people bring into work. 12 hour shifts and sleeping most of the day.

No, I was overweight and had a big belly prior to my problem being diagnosed. I now realize that I had bowel problems for a few years before I started breaking out. I haven't gained weight since going gluten free, but all the stuff that makes one fat, such as cake, cookies, ice cream, candy can be found gluten free. I just eat too many calories to lose weight.
I’m glad you’re a new member too we can really help each other out. Henry’s Market has a lot of gluten free products and wonderful bread to make that is gluten free. I just am gaining so much weight around my belly since I stopped the gluten. Did you find that too?
I have dermatitis herpetiformis which is another form of gluten allergy. From what I have read on the web about DH and celiac (both gluten intolerance) is that eating gluten has a detrimental affect on our bowel, and the final result of not being gluten free can be bowel cancer.
In addition to having the gut problems celiacs have, I break out in a rash which itches fiercely, so have more motivation to stay gluten free. I have tried for three years, and still break out. Eating out is especially challenging so I have vowed to give it up for a while.
Hi, My name is Breck, I just started dealing with my celiac disease this year. As far as having better moods and the lack of frequent potty trips Ive gained weight (I guess the food stays where it should) even though I quit bread, breaded things, flour, everything Ive ever loved and the weight has been belly fat. I am getting huge. I hate this thinking it is better to eat what I love and just poop it out before the calories count. Am I the only one who this has happened to? anyway it is nice to meet all of you. Breck
