I haven't heard of the Rotation Allergy Diet, but I'm about to "google" it. Sounds like it might be something I want to look at. But, I'm not getting too OCD about them until I get in to see the allergist.

I have the same situation as you. I need to avoid wheat, dairy and peanuts. I went vegan in June before I realized I was allergic to wheat. It was amazing how much better I felt when I was eating mostly vegetables. Then I started to have bread...and sinus infections. I am getting ready to try the Rotation Allergy Diet. Has anyone had luck with it? It sounds like a fun way to add new recipes to my vegan lifestyle.

Hi and welcome to the team.

Dorothy

If you tell God no because He won't explain the reason He wants you to do something, you are actually hindering His blessing. But when you say yes to Him, all of heaven opens to pour out His goodness and reward your obedience. What matters more than material blessings are the things He is teaching us in our spirit.

Wow, Your challenges are much harder than mine. I too like Atkins for the things it eliminates. I just bought the new Atkins book and read it. Its very good! Basically same plan with healthier choices.

One of my favorite foods is the Glutino pretzels. They are really good.

emoticon KB, We have lots of information, references, websites, recipes, meal suggestions, etc in our sticky topics. You'll find it beneficial if you take the time to read them.

Linda, that is a tough combination since you cannot eat many of the basic grains we use as substitute flours.

I'm in your same "boat," although my allergies to wheat and milk are "low," w/ other things getting up to moderate. Since I'm also allergic to corn, rice, soy, tomatoes and green beans, I've decided to do Atkins Induction for a while (as an elimination diet of sorts) and then work on a long-term plan from there.

If you don't have issues w/ rice, the gluten-free pastas, crackers, etc., are not bad at all.

Hi, I am excited to find this team here. This is the only site that has info on every health issue I am facing. I have just been diagnosed with a moderate allergy to wheat and milk. People have this attitude of "just don't eat them then". It is NOT that easy. Wheat and Milk are everywhere! I am looking for support and Ideas for coping with all of this. Im going with the approach of taking little steps that add up to big steps. I have totally eliminated milk, but can't let go of my cheese. Wheat is a whole other ball game. Any tips you all might offer will be greatly appreciated.
