I made the salmon dill burgers for dinner tonight.(page 51) They were good. I want to try making the chocolate biscotti some time. I like that most of her recipes are also dairy free. The crust for quiche sounds good too.
Welcome, I too have really enjoyed trying new foods and recipes. (I am GF and dairy free) and am just coming up on my first year anniversary of being dx "intolerant" and the beginning of feeling healthy for the first time in a long time! Illiniteacher, not sure which cookbook you have but I have one called The GF Almond Flour Cookbook. The scones are fantastic and easy to make! I also like the savory crust for a quiche.

Welcome! It is worth it to avoid those things to which you react negtively. For me it is wheat/gluten, corn, peanuts and dairy. I like being creative with menu planning. I just bought a cookbook about using almond meal flour. I plan to try a recipe or two today since I am off from school due to the weather. You will find this team to be a great resource.
About 5 mo ago tested positive for Celiacs, I also found i'm allergic to milk, eggs, peanuts, beef and a few other things. So that's the reason i've had a hard time losing weight over the last 3 yrs. Sticking to a diet plan is not easy, but when i do the weight literaly falls off without much effort towards exercise. I'm always ready to try new recipes or foods. :)
