Welcome to the team. I agree that feeling better is worth giving up food and I just view it as an opportunity to try new things. Good luck to you!

Welcome to the team!
I looked down at my legs the other day and was surprised that they are smooth, with no itchy bumps. I can actually wear shorts and not be embarrased. For so many years no one could figure out what the problem was. Being gluten free has helped clear up so many problems! it is worth learning how to eat differently. Have fun trying new menus. It is a great adventure to find out how much better you can feel!

Hello from Oregon
Welcome to the group, we have a lot of great friendly people here.
I can relate on the weight loss and DH(although my DH still took a couple of months to completely clear up).
Sorry for your loss.
Welcome to the team. Being finally diagnosed is great. I still don't have one, but have decided to go gluten free two months ago. I feel SO much better. It is amazing.

The only day you can change is today.
What are you going to do today to reach your goals of tomorrow?
It's supposed to be hard. If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard is what makes it GREAT

I've been gluten free for 3 weeks, my Dr. confirmed the diagnosis this week. My DH is going away and other than fatigue I'm feeling so much better. No longer starving all the time and I've lost 12 pounds so far just going off gluten. Its been a horrible couple of weeks that only God oculd get me through. We had a shocking loss in our family and I'm just starting to get back on my feet.
I'm so thankful that God has brought me to a diagnosis, I've been fighting this for a long time and its good to know what's been wrong.
Looking forward to healing, working through grieving, and trusting God every step of the way.

I'm still working on getting recipes up for all the pics. If there's a particular recipe you'd like more info on, I'd love to help!
