I'm newly diagnosed (Nov '08) and there are some good resources and support here. There are members who have posted recipes and added custom items. If you suspect you have CD, consider paying for testing for the answer you need. If you can't do that, at least make certain you do everything you can to eliminate gluten from your diet to keep/get yourself healthy.

I just made my first batch of GF muffins from scratch...if I can do it, so can you!!! LOL

Welcome Tracie. I was diagnosed about 3 months ago. I also had to give up dairy, eggs, and soy so it is hard to find stuff I can eat. I am thoroughly sick of chicken and ground beef!!!
There is lots of help here.
So what are you waiting for?
What do you have to lose. Your insecurities they try to alter you.
But you know you're made for more- so don't be afraid to move.
Your faith is all it takes and you can walk on the water to.
Nice to meet you.

Just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself since I'm new around here.
My name is Tracie, I'm 28 years old, and I don't officially diagnosis of Celiac, as I don't have health insurance (yikes!) but I have tried a *mostly* gluten-free diet and feel so much better when I eliminate it. Still trying to figure out what all has gluten and what doesn't.
Additionally, I avoid processed sugar and artificial sweeteners. Always looking for new recipes and food ideas.
I've only been on SP about a week and LOVE the support I've found thus far. Wish I could follow some of the meal plans on the website, but didn't see "gluten free" as an option when I signed up. If I missed it, let me know.
Guess that's about all for now. Looking forward to learning a lot from each of you!
Have a great day!
