I became a member at

www.videofitness.com

It is a diet-free zone; however, it is not exactly about Health at Any Size either.

Now that I reached my goal weight. [The last leg had me weighing less than I would have liked to], I really have to shape up.

They have links to discount codes, etc. and mostly home fitness discussion and video reviews ...

The cable network here has an on demand feature, so I can choose what show I want to watch or excercises I want to do whenever I want to. Providing, of course, the television is not already in use.

Thanks for all the great ideas, especially the Netflix one! I was able to find Carmen Electra's Fit to Strip (my sister has it, and the last time I used it, especially CD2, the exercise routine, I lost weight and toned a lot!). Also, here's a great tip: a lot of the exercise DVDs are Instant Play, which means if you have a good monitor (like I do), you can try them right away! That's good for me cos I take FOREVER to return Netflix movies!

I am aching to try Core Rhythms. My midsection is the one part of my body I'm really unhappy with, and I absolutely hate crunches. I can't wait until I get my first paycheck!

Also, fitnessmagazine.com is amazing for free workouts! That's where I've been getting most of my workouts from!

Hi, I am new to the team and just happened to see this thread.

I've bought videos and DVDs and other items from Collage Video for literally decades (not to date self so won't say which decade lol). They are the best (although not the least expensive).

Core Rhythms is no joke. I have the dvds and it will work your core. Even my teenage daughters could barely make it thru one of the dvds.

Hi all! I just did a Core Rhythm workout about 7 min. long...I'm all cored out! I think I'll hold off on it, a lil too soon after 2 surgeries to my abdominal area.

But I think you ladies might enjoy it. I did, it's just too much right now. Can't wait til I'm strong enough to do it.

Hi and welcome :-)

I want to get Slim in 6 but I've not been able to just yet. I do Turbo Jam and I'm hoping to start P90X soon (fingers crossed).

Right now, I'm doing Ripped and cardio along with yoga and pilates :-)

I copied this from another thread, because I forgot the sources thread was here :)

Hi! There is this new website called www.swapadvd.com that allows you to swap dvds that you are no longer using. Here's how it works:

You post a DVD you no longer want. If someone requests that DVD, you mail it to them. Once they have received it and post it as received online, you get a credit to request a DVD from that website. The DVD must say ORDER THIS DVD next to it for you to order it. It's that simple!

Now, to make it even more simple, they have the option that you print out an address label with postage and delivery confirmation. You pay for that postage and delivery comfirmation, but you were going to pay for it anyway at the post office. Only you get to skip the hassle of standing in long lines and gas money :) I STRONGLY suggest that you use this feature. That way, you get your credit instantly instead of having to wait for the mail receipient to post that it was received. You can also purchase credits to get DVDs on their website, if you are one or two credits off a DVD that you desperately want.

You can even create a wishlist of DVDs that are listed on the site, but that aren't available. If that DVD becomes available and you are top of the list, you can instantly have it sent to you.

The website goes into even more detail, but it's a great deal for those that are hoping to build up the exercise DVD collection.

If you do join, REFER ME! My name over there is bubbles76, and I'll get a credit. You can also add me as a buddy, and maybe we can swap DVDs.

Of course, you don't have to just post or request exercise DVDs. Anime, action, comedy, drama, boxed TV series, classics, cartoons, kids shows, documentaries, mysteries, everything is open there! All you need is the UPC code from the package to post a DVD. To request, all you need is the name. I have already received four DVDs in excellent condition, and I have sent out four.

Oh, and the website is free to use. The only things you pay for are (1) electronic postage if you choose to use it (43 cent fee) and (2) credits, if you are one or two credits off a DVD that you desperately want. No membership or sign up fees!

I used to really like exercisetv.tv/studio they used to have tons of full length fitness videos for free. They still have some, but they charge for most of them now, so now I have to find a new place for my cardio workouts.

Also, blazefitness.com is a newer video sharing site for exercise videos. It's free.

www.fitnessmagazine.com offers streaming workouts. They seem to run about 20 mins or so. This would probably be a good tool for exercising in hotels etc.
