Welcome! I wish I could be more help to you, but I do not identify as trans. I cannot fully understand what you are going through. I can offer support if you are looking for it! Also, if it makes you feel better, my fat has been distributed to my belly and thighs for a long time

Hi, just wanted to add my voice of welcome. I'm also not trans, but I'm glad you're here and that you're sharing yourself and asking for what you need.
You can't wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club.

Thanks for replying, and more thanks for adding me!
Hi! I'm not trans so I'm afraid I can't share my experience in that area, but I just wanted to thank you for sharing. I just added you as a friend, see you around and best of luck on your journey!

I know that we do have some Trans people here, I hope that we can all be of help to each other, but we all do have more specific needs that not everyone can understand.
Hi all, i haven't seen many trans/gnc people here... are there any?
I identify as transgender and nonbinary and queer. I'm learning to navigate my body while i'm on testosterone, and hoping that participating in sparkpeople will help with some of it. T has made me gain about ten pounds since january, although most of it is muscle (i've busted the shoulders on more than one favorite button-down shirt!). It also redistributes existing body fat, which means i can no longer hide my fat in the form of 'curves'. It's becoming thighs and belly instead.
Anyway, despite these changes, i'm finally starting to feel at home in my body. Now i'm just interested in aiding that process, hurrying it up a bit. I'm not entirely sure how to navigate it all, since neither the men's health nor women's health categories really apply to me, so i'm hoping i'll find some friends here who are going through similar things...
