Hi there, This particular forum strikes a chord over the others due to your demographics (turned 40, 5'3",body recovering from 3rd baby and it gets harder to lose the weight the older I get). Hoping I can join here and get motivation to get back off my plateau and back on track. Have been a member since March 06 and lost 12 lbs initially. Need to finish it off and need the comraderie for support etc. Thanks for you being "here".
HI Nancy and welcome to the shorties group. Good luck on reaching your goals. Seems like once we reach our 40s the weight seems to be a little tougher to lose but hey, I am not going to let that stop me!

Welcome, Nancy. You know WW works when you work it. I get 19 flex points and I try to only use 2 more extras a day. It's slow going but it IS going. People think I've lost a ton, it's only been 14 because each pound IS alot on our little bodies. I DO want to get 20 more off, though. Heard of "Keep on Truckin"? Well, "Keep on Writing" it down.

Welcome Nancy! I am sure you will do well with Spark. This has been one of the best programs for me. Actually the only one where I have lost the weight. Logging your foods and getting in your water is essential!!
And yes, definitely know what you're talking about with the variation between short and tall and how different we carry weight. Even our shapes make a difference. Pear or apple, that sort of thing.

Hi, I'm Nancy and I've been on Spark since mid September. I've lost weight before on WW, about 5 years ago. But I fell back into old eating habits and regained it. This time I'm adding exercise to my efforts. So far the scale hasn't changed much but I'm being patient.
It's so frustrating that 20 or 30 lbs. of extra weight looks so different on a short person vs. a taller one. That's why it's so great to find this team. You all know what I'm going through!
