Have fun at the gym and start slow. Don't push yourself to the point you won't or can't return for a few days or more. Hopefully they have someone there so if you have questions they will help you out. Enjoy!!

I understand how you feel about the gym, I was that way at first, but look at it this way - going by yourself, you may find the ability within yourself to push and move forward. Remember - baby steps will get you there and only you know what you want to succeed for yourself! Plus - going by yourself, you won't feel the need to meet someone else's goals right now - that you can work up to.

thanks. i might need a little motivation. i'm going back to the gym tomorrow for the first time, in over a year. i'm really excited, but also kind of uneasy. i know i'm out of shape, and i'm going by myself. which means nobody to push me, but me. i know i can do it, i'm just a little nervous.
