Welcome to both of you! So many of us can so empathize with where you're at - the yo-yoing, avoiding the camera, etc. I've noticed everyone here is very open to discussing most anything, and are very sincere about helping out.

"We run, not because we think it is doing us good, but because we enjoy it and cannot help ourselves...The more restricted our society and work become, the more necessary it will be to find some outlet for this craving for freedom."

I'm new to the team as well I found you through a friend of mine who is a member here as well. My name is Sarah and I am 4'11" and maybe the shortest one of the team. Look forward to getting to know everyone.

I just came across this team a few days ago but this is my first introduction. My name is Vanessa and I'm 5'2". After much a yo=yo dieting I'm really trying right now. I guess I've always known I was big and I don't like looking in the mirror or getting my pictures taken because of it. I just never realized how big til I started opening my eyes in the mirror. It's scary. I have an almost 3 year old little boy and I want to be aroud to see him grow up and follow his dreams. I also want to be here for many many many more years with myhusband. So I love this site and even though I've tried and failed a few times I'm really hoping this is THE time.
